Cameron Copeland started his insurance career in the hard-market of 2002 with AIG, which led to a partnership opportunity in Cansure in 2011. After merging operations with Beacon Underwriting in 2014 and focusing on developing scale and growth to benefit customers, Cameron assumed the role of President in 2017. Now branded as Specialty Program Group Canada, Cameron leads a diverse team of professionals across Canada providing general P&C and niche/specialty insurance under operating brands Cansure, Beacon, and i3 Underwriting. As a leader, Cameron is focused on innovation and growth and ensuring a strong culture and operational platform that delivers excellent customer experiences and reliable results. Cameron holds an MBA from Queens University and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations.

David Marsh | President
David Marsh started his insurance career in 1990 as a Property Loss Adjuster for a major Canadian insurance company, subsequently holding positions in Loss Control and Commercial Underwriting. Upon leaving Vancouver in 1997 for small town Salmon Arm, B.C., Dave helped launch Beacon Underwriting which developed into one of Canada’s leading MGAs. As part of the combined management group, he helped bring about the successful merger of the two firms when Beacon and Cansure came together in 2014. Beacon is now being re-introduced as a differentiated brand, focused on Personal Insurance. As its president, Dave remains focused on delivering innovative insurance solutions and exceptional service to our broker partners.

Nathan Tjandrawinata | Managing Director
Gratefully assuming the role of Managing Director at Beacon since January 2024, Nathan Tjandrawinata humbly oversees the entirety of Beacon’s operations as an enterprise. Nathan started his insurance career in 2008, his journey has traversed large domestic markets and Managing General Agent (MGA) landscapes, particularly within the personal insurance space. Nathan holds a BA in Economics, Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Managing General Agent (CMGA) designations. As a leader, his focus centers on fostering innovation and sustainable growth, all while nurturing a resilient culture and operational foundation that consistently delivers excellent customer experiences and dependable results. Nathan approaches Beacon’s future with humility, aspiring to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing success and positive impact within the insurance industry.
Lori Manskopf | Vice President
Lori Manskopf has over 25 years P&C Insurance experience in underwriting, business development and leadership, working in both the standard and non-standard marketplace. Lori holds both the CAIB and CIP designation and, with a strong commitment to education, as she is also an instructor for the Insurance Institute,
Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities, Lori volunteers on the WICC BC Donor committee fundraising within the insurance industry in support of cancer research and education.
Lori has a strong passion for underwriting and broker relationships. Her focus is on providing exceptional service and delivering innovative insurance solutions to our broker partners and maintaining Beacon as a trusted brand.

Evelyne Stremel
Evelyne Stremel has over 19 years of insurance experience with Beacon where she is currently an Underwriting Manager and Practice Leader for Pleasurecraft. She is also a General Insurance Level 2 License and has received numerous sales awards throughout her tenure. Over the years, Evelyne has honed her underwriting skills in other lines as well, including Commercial Marine, Motorcycles, Off-Road Vehicles and related toys, Event Liability, Contents in Storage and Hole-In-One risks.

Stacey Muller
Stacey Muller has almost a decade of experience in the Off Road Vehicle & Motorcycle segment. Holding a degree in Business Administration, Stacey brings an entrepreneurial approach to the business of insurance. This, coupled with deep product knowledge, drives her to provide thoughtful coverage solutions to her broker customers. That said, Stacey understands that riders are looking for quick answers. She’s committed to providing her brokers the fastest turnaround time possible to help get their clients back on the road or trail.

Natalie Weber
Natalie Weber is a sales, communications and marketing professional who offers robust experience from various sectors within the insurance industry. She’s had experience managing and growing national and international portfolios, within brokerages, for risk management, and within the restoration and construction industry. She has an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys creating and developing brand awareness utilizing different strategic marketing initiatives. Denise Russell
Today, Denise is part of the executive management team at Specialty Program Group Canada (SPGC) as Head of Distribution. In this role, Denise has oversight of marketing/advertising, business development, and customer service teams. Having joined initially under the Cansure banner in 2018 as VP Sales and Marketing, she also recently served as Director, Carrier Relations, which provided day to day oversight on carrier and capacity management supporting Cansure, Beacon, and i3 Underwriting.
Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities, Denise has contributed her personal time on the board of directors of the WICC BC Chapter for 4 years as Communications Chair, as well as Vice Chair on the revived YIPBC board in its inaugural year in 2019. Denise has also been previously recognized by the Insurance Brokers Association of BC as a recipient of the Rising Star award in 2019.
